The role of the Landscape Committee is to maintain, and where possible, enhance the beauty of God's creation as it exists on St. Luke's campus. We have an award - winning Memorial Garden where native trees and understory plants provide a peaceful setting for meditation and contemplation. It is the resting place for the remains of many friends of St. Luke's (both two and four-legged), and the site of our outdoor worship services. The gardens around our sanctuary are filled with flowering plants, and the woods around our facility are home to a variety of wildlife, including a mated pair of pileated woodpeckers, and red-tailed hawks. We host regular cleanup parties for our gardens, and welcome the participation of members and guests in maintaining the beauty of our campus.
