OrganizationsThe Episcopal Church Women, ECW, is an organization of and for women through which they are called and empowered by Grace to serve our Lord through prayer, action, study, and fellowship. The ECW annually sponsors the UTO (United Thank Of Offering the Children's Christmas Sale, Holiday Luncheon, Winter Fair, Quiet Day, and Fashion Show. Meetings are the second Saturday at 10:00 AM.
EYC is the youth group for middle and high school students. Fellowship and fun, fund raising and trips. In the last few years the EYC has participated in the Night of Joy and White Water Rafting on the Nanttahala Join us on the first Sunday of the month during FaithBasics.
The Men's Club offers fellowship and breakfast on the third Saturday of the month at 8:30AM. The men sponsor the annual picnic, Thanksgiving Dinner and the annual Mothers Day breakfast. The club maintains a section of AIA in conjunction with the Keep Martin County Beautiful program which they also support financially. The club also supports the White Dove program every Christmas. Their principal objective is outreach funded by their various sponsored activities.
The Daughters of the King chapter meets monthly on the first Wednesday of the month following the 10:00 am Eucharist. A member pledges herself to a lifelong program of prayer, service and evangelism dedicated to the Spread of Christ's Kingdom and to the strengthening of the spiritual life of her parish.
Foyer Groups of 6 to 8 parishioners meet at each other's homes for fellowship, breaking bread, and Bible study on a weekly basis.
Cursillo Reunion Groups continue their Fourth Day together to discuss their piety, study, and action in order to encourage one another in spiritual improvement and the Christian mission. The groups consist of those who have attended the three?day Cursillo weekend, a short course in Christianity. The Reunion groups also sponsor Ultreyas or reunions of the Cursillo community. For those who are interested in attending a Cursillo weekend or finding a reunion group, speak to the Parish Representative.
The Newcomers Committee welcomes new members and hosts a party so that they may get to know the Vestry and other leaders of the congregation.
