In response to God’s grace to us over the years, St. Luke’s has followed Jesus’ command to love one another as I have loved you and continues to responsibly and intentionally minister to the needs of our community and to the world. Our stewardship of resources demonstrates a combination of Biblical and Church instruction.

OLD TESTAMENT TRADITION
MALACHI 3:10 – “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse that there may be food in my house. And try me on this.” Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such a blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.”

NEW TESTAMENT INSTRUCTION

HEBREWS 13: 16 – “And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices, God is pleased.” ~ Paul
