In response to God’s grace to us over the years, St. Luke’s has followed Jesus’ command to love one another as I have loved you and continues to responsibly and intentionally minister to the needs of our community and to the world. Our stewardship of resources demonstrates a combination of Biblical and Church instruction.

MALACHI 3:10 – “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse that there may be food in my house. And try me on this.” Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such a blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.”

JOHN 15:12 – “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.” ~ Jesus

MATTHEW 25:44-45 – “They will also answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger needing clothing or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’ He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’ ” ~ Jesus to his disciples.

HEBREWS 13: 16 – “And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices, God is pleased.” ~ Paul
