Wednesday Evening Bible Study
Bible Study continues Wednesday evenings at 6 PM in the Parish Hall. The focus of the study is a preview of the upcoming Scripture readings of the Lectionary calendar. They can be found at lectionarypage.net. All are welcome!
Join us for Friday Morning Bingo at St. Luke’s!
Bingo at St. Luke’s Friday mornings. Doors open at 9:30am and the games begin at 10:30am in the Parish Hall. Refreshments and hot dogs are available for purchase. Sandwiches are also available on every 4th Friday of the month. Volunteers are still needed, please call the church office if interested.

Blessing of the Animals
At St. Luke’s Sunday service on October 1, we will be having a Blessing of the Animals. You are all welcome to bring your pets for blessings! You may bring pet food or supplies for donation to the Treasure Coast Humane Society. If you would like to donate in your pet’s name please bring a copy of a photo of your pet and we will attach it to the donation box. Thank you!
Bingo Italian Night!
Our next Bingo Italian Night will be Thursday, October 19. For the very reasonable price of $15, each person will receive a small Bingo Card and a Pasta Dinner with Salad and Dessert. Come join us for a night of fun and fellowship. The doors open at 5pm; dinner will be at 5:30pm and Bingo will promptly begin at 6:30pm.
Save the Date! Fellowship Dinner
St. Luke’s Fellowship Dinner will be held on November 11, 2023 @6pm in the Parish Hall. This special evening allows the community of St. Luke’s to come together for a special meal and to get to know one another. Everyone at St. Luke’s is encouraged to attend! There will be Planning committee meetings immediately following the Sunday service on October 1, 15 & 29. Anyone who would like to help with this special event is welcome to attend.

Handbell Choir
Calling all musically minded people…. we invite you to consider learning how to ring handbells. Upcoming practices will be on Thursday, October 5 at 4:15-5:30pm; and Sunday, October 22 after service.
Thrift Store

Hours are Wednesday – Saturday, 10 am – 1 pm.
Drop off is located in front of the Parish Hall. PLEASE… NO contractor size bags, NO donations of food, and all clothing should be clean, washed, and in good condition (gently used). Thank you! We are in need of clothing donations. THE THRIFT STORE WILL BE CLOSED SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 30.
LAHIA Help Needed
LAHIA ~ Love In Hope & In Action is a ministry to those who are homeless in our neighborhood. We and other churches in Martin County partner with LAHIA to provide high protein food such as cheese, peanut butter, canned tuna, and other resources in Christ’s name to our neighbors in transition. They are also in need of small sizes of women’s & men’s clothing, towels & bedding, and running shoes for men & women. VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED TO PROVIDE SEALED INGREDIENTS FOR SANDWICHES AND DELIVER THEM TO LAHIA, 1760 SE SALERNO ROAD. If you are interested in helping in this ministry, please contact Carolyn Wood or the church office, or call LAHIA directly at 772-781-7002.

Boys & Girls Club Donation
On December 8, 2022, members of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Port Salerno presented a check for $1757 to the Boys and Girls Club of Port Salerno for Christmas. St. Luke’s is happy to partner with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Martin County to continue to fulfill our mission to reach children in our surrounding Port Salerno community. We thank the Boys and Girls Club for their cooperation in this wonderful endeavor.
